We, like many, wanted to make a splash when we landed in the footwear ocean. With 30 billion pairs of footwear produced worldwide in 2017, this was not an easy task. We looked at hundreds of other styles and started to notice some common trends. If it was stylish, it was overpriced and uncomfortable. If it was comfortable, it was unsightly, and still overpriced. We had a couple questions: “Why can't comfort and style go together?” and “Why is footwear so expensive?” When we set out to create NuuSol, we had four simple guidelines:

We launched our first product the Cascade Flip Flop in fall of 2018. We designed the Cascade with these four principles in mind. Fast forward to today, and you'll find four products still proudly manufactured in Ontario, Oregon. We've stuck with our core principles, making comfortable and stylish footwear at an affordable price right here in the U.S.A.
